I don’t understand why some of us get so competitive with people we don’t need to compete with. Along with competitiveness, jealousy sneaks in there too. You see someone rise and advancing in their life and instead of congratulating them and giving them the credit they deserve, you degrade them….

are you really going to “hate” me just because I’m in the military?
what did i ever do to you?
how can you hate someone that decided, by their own mind and choice, to join the military?
we don’t ask for your sympathy
we don’t ask for special treatment
we all join for different reasons
sure i’m not over at a war zone shooting people
but i’m still dedicated to working for my country in whatever way they need me
just because your views aren’t pro military
and that’s cool, believe what you want to believe in,
don’t give me a hard time.
life already kinda sucks when you’re always from home all the time.
